E' ormai scomparso da qualche giorno il "maestro di mourinho" un grande allenatore che ha dimostrato su tutte le panchine sulle quali si è seduto quanto ne sapeva di calcio... la mia grande ammirazione verso di lui è cominciata molto tardi, quando già allenava il Newcastle e si apprestava ad incontrare l'inter. Le parole che in quell'occasione spese sul chino mi fecero capire che era inutile cercare di replicare a chi gli dava contro perchè chi ne ha sempre capito di calcio non avrebbe mai lasciato passare il concetto secndo il quale in chino era un mezzo giocatore o uno che addirittura non meritasse di giocare nell'inter... cercando su internet sono riuscito a trovare solo una delle due interviste...quella pre-partita che ripropongo ora... quella post-partita nella quale definì il gol del chino una magia da Pallone d'oro la ricordo ma non riesco a rovarla.. cmq addio sir Bobby e grazie per queste parole oltra naturalmente per aver aiutato la crescita di un grande allenatore come mourinho
Football: Bobby's wary of Reco as United go Inter battle

THE Inter Milan star Sir Bobby Robson fears most of all could have signed for the Toon Army.
Italian golden boy Christian Vieri and Argentine ace Hernan Crespo may be the biggest names in the formidable Internazionale line-up.
But Uruguayan super sub Alvaro Recoba poses the biggest threat to Newcastle's Champions League progress according to Robson.
And English football's latest knight should know, because he tried to make 26-year-old Recoba his first signing when he arrived at St. James' Park three years ago.
Robson first spotted the Uruguayan attacker when he went to Italy to watch his protege, Ronaldo, make his Inter debut.
But the veteran United manager came away drooling about Recoba, whom some Italian commentators claim is the most creative striker to grace Serie A since Zinedine Zidane.
And Robson is warning his defenders they must check Recoba's penetrating runs from just behind the front two or face defeat in their opening second phase game at St. James' Park on Wednesday night.
"I first saw Recoba when I went to see Ronaldo play his first match for Inter after he left Barcelona," revealed Robson." It was 0- 0, a tough game, and Recoba came on as a substitute.
"I thought: 'Jesus, who is this boy?' He hit two absolute snorters that day with his left foot, both from 25 yards.
"What a player he is. Sometimes he's in the side and sometimes he isn't, but when he comes off the bench he's frightening.
"I tried to get him on loan here from Inter. I'd seen him and I thought: 'I'll take him to Newcastle.' But Inter wouldn't have it.
"We had a lot of injuries and I needed someone to partner Alan Shearer.
"I went back to the chairman and said: 'Shearer's all we've got.' So I tried to get Recoba and it was in the balance for a while, but then Inter put their foot down.
"Sadly, I never got as far as talking to him. We will have to watch him like a hawk on Wednesday."
Robson is aware that twice-European champions Inter ooze quality throughout their side.
United began their Champions League home programme with a defeat against Feyenoord and Robson admits that another St. James' Park defeat could knock Newcastle out of the competition.
"They've obviously got Crespo and Vieri - both top players," explained Robson. "And in defence they have Marco Materazzi, the big centre-half, and Fabio Cannavaro, who is very strong.
"It will be similar to our meeting with Juventus here - a difficult match and a close one.
"The Italian League is strong. When I was in Barcelona I spoke to Fabio Capello about Italian football a few times when he was manager at Real Madrid.
"He said football at the top in Italy - at clubs like Lazio, Roma, Inter, AC, Juventus and Parma - was wonderful, but also that the Italian League had a little more depth than, say, Spanish football.
"He thought Serie A was a tough, tough league, and you look at Crespo, Vieri and Recoba, and you have to agree.
"But we've got home advantage and have to try to build on the last two home victories we've had in the Champions League against Kiev and Juve.
"We need to start with a home win because I think the second stage will be around 20 per cent more difficult than the first group.
"The teams that have gone out weren't weak teams but they must have had the odd weakness, that's why they're out.
"What's left in are teams with hardly any weaknesses. We've certainly have a daunting group with Inter, Barca and last season's finalists, Bayer Leverkusen.
"But in our final three games of the first group we showed we are a strong side. I always thought we could pick up points against Feyenoord, because we are better than they were both technically and strength-wise.
"So, while I was sick about losing three points to them here at St James's Park, I felt that if things went to the last match, I could see us getting something away at Feyenoord. Thanks to Craig Bellamy we did."
Now nine points from three home games is Robson's ambitious target. "We don't want to be needing points in any of the away matches against Barca, Bayer or Inter," he said. What we get at home is absolutely crucial."
